"11 O´Clock Tick Tock" - june 3, 1980. U2 perform in Nottingham, England at the Boat Club. Upon reaching Nottingham, Bono realizes his suitcase is missing--presumably lost. Less than 10 people show for the gig. Support is "Fashion".
"War" tour - june 3, 1983. U2 perform in Salt Lake City, Utah.
"U2 hoped to unite East/West for a day" - june 3, 1985. U2 attempt to perform in Berlin, Germany on the Platz der Repulik in front of the Reichstag. U2 hoped to unite East/West for a day, but the actual event doesn't get much publicity and as a result is cancelled.
"The Joshua Tree" - june 3, 1987. U2 perform in Birmingham, England at the National Exhibition Centre. Bono invites a guitarist up on stage to help with "People Get Ready", and when the guitarist finishes the song, Bono asks him if his band is here. They are also invited up on stage and are handed instruments--the two bands play "Knockin' on Heaven's Door". Support is "Hurrah!".
POPMart" tour - june 3, 1997 - East Rutherford, NJ. Giants Stadium. Fun Lovin' Criminals. Edge´s karaoke this night is "New York, New York".
