Bono is interviewed by RTE as he walks through the rooms of the exhibit, "An enormous exercise for themselves, the fear they felt over the holocaust and the bombs being dropped in Nagasaki and Hiroshima--they just painted. And that's what got me, even more than the paintings: just the idea that people should use art, if you like paint on canvas, to get something out of themselves. I suppose it's a bit like what we do with our music, that's the way we get it out of us. And it stuck on me, and when I was writing the words for 'The Unforgettable Fire', it just came back."

I¹ve had the immeasurable pleasure of interviewing the 'loudest folk band in the world' (to quote Bono) several times before, and still I can never predict what is going to happen or where we'll end up....'Larry, Adam, Bono and The Edge are four of the most charismatic, incredibly funny, self deprecating men I've ever met, and they just happen to be in the
biggest rock band in the world. So how do I feel about doing this show ? Three words: can't bloody wait!' Neither can we. Tonight, 11.30pm, ITV1.
