On the 30th afternoon, U2 record Phil Spector's "Christmas(Baby Please Come Home)" for the "A Very Special Christmas" album which is in support of the Special Olympics. "Simple Minds" guitarist Charlie Burchill plays guitar on "40" that evening. Support is "Hue & Cry".
