Two kids are brought on stage during 'Into the Heart,' and as the confetti is about to drop during 'Blinding Lights' (the kids are seating beside at each side of Larry´s drum kit). he tells them to 'reach up and look for blessings.' 'Party Girl' and 'Vertigo' replace '40' at the last minute, and Bono sprays a bottle of champagne over fans in the ellipse during 'Party Girl.' Waiting for the customary black U2 limos and SUV's to arrive for soundcheck. Edge arrived and his limo stopped. He got out and although didn't sign he did come down for a meet and greet with the fans. Bono arrived next and his SUV stopped in front of the growing mass of fans. He popped his head out and said he didn't have time to sign because they were going in to soundcheck "some new songs for us tonight". An eclectic group of U2 groupies - including actress Liv Tyler, Super Bowl champs Tom Brady and Larry Izzo and Boston City Council prez Michael Flaherty - partied into the wee hours yesterday at News with the Irish rockers and their crew after the band's second sold-out show. Bono, the Edge and Adam Clayton kicked back at the late-night South Station watering hole, where they hosted a low-key wrap-up masquerade party for their American tour road crew and close pals. Drummer Larry Mullen Jr., however, took a pass. Some photos on: Interference
