Bono brings a big male fan on stage for Beautiful Day, who lifts up and carries Bono. Miss Sarajevo is played for the first time since PopMart Sarajevo, 1997. Bono sings Pavarotti's operatic verse and draws loud cheers as he hits each note. Terry Lawless, U2's usually 'hidden' keyboardist, joins the band on stage for Original of the Species. That song and 40 are played for only the 2nd time in Europe this tour. Edge changs the guitar solo in New Year's Day for the first time in twenty years. Why would Edge do that, asked Bono.
